User Guide.  It is a link to this User Guide and Website.

  • Currency.  Tap to change the currency, so far five currencies are available:Canadian, British, American, Australian and New Zealander. You will notice that in some of the currencies the images of the actual coins are not shown. I am working on getting permissions from the copyright holders to use images of real money and that includes the Canadian coins.
  • Rate me.  This option is very important because the more the application gets rated the more possibilities it has to appear in the App store search. What this option does is, it sends focus to the app store to the main page where you initially downloaded the app and if you scroll down, there is a link to rate the app. Tap on it and give us your review and rating, thanks ;).
  • Tell a friend.  When you tap on this option the app shows you  an email that has a subject and a short body including the link to the app store for this App. It allows you to edit the subject, body and add the recipients you want to send the email.
  • Enter.  When you tap on this option you enter to Handy Cashier work screen.

Would like a way to keep track of the overall totals for each category sold and amount paid. For example if the first person buys 2 sodas and 2 chips and pays, then the next person buys 1 soda, I would like to get a report at the end of the day showing 3 sodas and the total amount paid for sodas and 2 chips and the total amount paid for chips. Thanks.

Did you go past the Initial screen? If not then tap where it says Enter and then the main screen will show where the toolbar is.

NZ coins show a 5 cent coin that has not been in use for several years. Please remove.

Try reinstalling, I haven’t seen that problem in the iPads I use, let me know if that works.
-I will look into the five cent coin and include the mod in the next update. Thanks.

I have reinstalled this app twice but it does not show the toolbar. The app is not functioning and I am very disappointed! Any other ideas???

This is so close to what I need for a client! They need to be able to enter an amount of money, and then be told how to make it up. For example, $3.30. Press enter and the app says (3) $1 dollar bills, (1) quarter, and (1) nickel. Is there a way to do that in this app?

Handy Wallet will probably do it. In the contents of the wallet put high quantities for every denomination (bills or coins) you are going to use. And when you enter the amount to pay, it will suggest the right amounts for each denomination.

Thank you for this APP. I needed something for our High School Concession stand and this is pretty close to perfect.
Having two lines of text in the hotkey descriptions would help, or the ability to insert photos on the buttons, but I’m extremely pleased with it’s simplicity and function.
You may want to consider (if you haven’t already) adding the phrase “concession calculator” to your app description. There are a lot of High Schools out there…
